The hosts were very nice and helpful. It was a beautiful historical house and had a cozy feeling. Breakfast had all the basics needed - white bread, hams, cheeses, yoghurt, muesly. Location was a bit far from the main attractions, but public transportation is close and fast.
Could really easily hear next room neighbours talking.

It is a vintage building, really nice to look at. Location is close to a tram station and is in a quiet neighbourhood. The owner is friendly, greets you whenever. We got the attic room which has really nice views out the window, and to also get some breeze.
Furnitures are quite dated, stairs creaked when you walk up. The garden at the porch looks unkempt, but maybe because it’s autumn season so it is bound to look like that. Breakfast is the same everyday, so there is nothing to look forward to.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Abel Pension. It felt a bit like time travel, as if you were visiting an elegant, cultured family friends in the 1920s. The house is absolutely beautiful and very well preserved and taken care of. You could feel that the owners treat it with love and also really care about guests´ comfort. Everything was super clean, and access to the garden is a nice bonus. I would love to come back sometime :)
It is really just a minor inconvenience, but some fresh fruit and vegetables for breakfast would really make the experience absolutely perfect.

It had the basic elements for a short stay. Some candies left in the room.
The air conditioning was turned on only after 27 degrees outside and it was controlled by the owner. This is false advertising. We came back at 11 in the morning one day and it was 30 degrees out but the ac not on, not even a fan offered. And when the ac was on, it was on fan mode. This made us open the windows which brought mosquitos and noise inside. The cover of the bed had blinde hairs. I have black hair so that was not mine. A small bar of soap was given for two of us for three days. No shampoo, no air dryer. The sockets for electric devices seemed old and loose. Towels were hard though they were changed to everyday. Owner treated us like children when checking in asking us to sit and fill in the papers while showing us why the number nine on the key was not a six. It was so hot and didn’t even get offered a glass of water. We didn’t even try to make it for breakfast since it was only until 9am and we were on holidays.
