Real plesant surprise

Amazing location, friendly host, excellent yard to stay for a night out or to drink the morning coffee. Overall was an excellent stay. Thank you!

We had two rooms, one for 4 people and one double room, both very clean and in good conditions. At our arrival the host presented to us the guesthouse, give the key from inside parking (so very safe, although is safe also on the street), show also the common kitchen where you can find all is necessary to have a breakfast on your own. The courtyard is very nice, green, with to tables and all the needed equipment to stay at fresh air. It was a realy nice stay and you cand reach Budapest cemter in around 10 minutes by Bus 8E or 112. Nearby you have also some restaurants and a Non Stop shop.

No air conditioning in our rooms but there was a fan provided to cool down the room (we knew this from our booking so not a problem).

The guest house was really charming and close to the river and centre of town which was within walking distance. Secure free parking was available to us. There was a really nice restaurant 4mins walking distance away. It was 6mins walking from both a gas station/grocery store.

Exceptional

Perfect hotel with a good location, not really far away from all that you need in the city. Located in the green pretty yard, stylish and comfortable. Very nice owners, cheerful and helpful. Will definitely stay here one more time.

Superb garden

It's a clean accommodation with a nicely equipped shared kitchen, fast wifi and a superb garden, where you could hear birds singing while drinking your coffee.

An improvement suggestion would be adding a desk in the room instead of the little table, which is still useful.

It was OK once. During summer it can be a good option.

It was very close to the location I needed to go.

There were some issues with the heating, blankets were also very small, so it was difficult to compensate. Otherwise OK.

Staff member arrived late for check-in, had very poor english and was impolite. Staff was not present, and was very difficult to reach by phone to pay the taxes and leave the key to check out. The building was spooky, next to a busy road and had a strong smell of a detergent. Just an expensive disappointment! Luckily could stay at friends, and did not have to sleep a single night in this guesthouse!

Perfect place

Everything was perfect, not so far from most attractions by foot, bus station nearby, free parking space, the room was nice and clean, kitchen with all facilities and free coffee, quiet area, perfect host. Best place for the price!

The owners are friendly and nice. And the location is nice. We were walking from Kis Gellert Guesthouse to the Buda Castle about 20 minutes.

Felt safe and relaxed in the house. Only met the person responsible for the house once.

Quiet safe house with great facilities - able to make tea and get my breakfast !

Not complaining but shower could have been better !

We enjoyed our stay, we highly recommend it.

Location in Buda, close to a bus and tram station. After you learn how to use the local public transport , you'll get around easily, both in Buda or in Pest District.The house is big, with many rental rooms and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Parking is possible on the property and is free. In the basement there is a nice place to cook and eat, with lots of cooking utensils and two big tables. Our room was on the second floor, rather small for three persons, we had a good wifi signal, a small fridge and air conditioning. Very kind and friendly host, such a relief to find someone speaking English in Hungary. We thank him a lot as he was very helpful and patient and explained to us very clearly how to move around and find places while in Budapest. There is a shopping mall quite close if you need one.

The room and the bathroom were clean, nevertheless the room looks a bit neglected, in many places the curtains fell off their fixtures and are hanging messily. The windows are very high I guess it's not easy fixing them constantly. Old style bathroom (which is not a problem for us) but the water tank's chain broke at every single flush and we had to fix it all the time and the shower drain was partially clogged so water drained very slowly. Some small inexpensive repair like fixing the curtains could increase a lot the rating.

Nice room in old house with charm

The hotel is in a good location, close to a tram stop into the center of the city. It is a quiet, residential neighborhood. The room was in a beautiful old building and decorated in period style. The hotel has a shared kitchen on the ground floor, which we used to prepare a few meals during our stay. The receptionist (Adam) was very friendly and helpful.

Four of us (two adults, two kids) shared one room. Because it was the height of summer, it was a bit too hot to have four people share a quite small room.

Excellent guest house

The guesthouse is really well located, just a short bus trip from Central Budapest. What's more, it's on a quiet residential road, despite being near such good transport links. At the check in, Arthur was really helpful, giving us advice on the best transport to take where, and checking out was a breeze. The room had two single beds, as well as a fan which made it easier to keep cool in the heat of Budapest's summer. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Calm, pretty, neat place, we enjoyed staying here.

We were very satisfied, the area is lovely, there are trees and hills, the room was silent, the building was a nice old house with an exquisite garden. The city center can be accessed easily by public transport (a few stops).

The booking.com site mentions 0-24 reception service, which is not true, but the hotel staff contacted us on the phone after the booking, and we made plans accordingly.

Wery authentic.

One key on 4 People and The key is needed doors and gates. Se had electricity splitter For Charing phones but if we had not, There would Be a pretty big mess with this. :)
