A hot, stuffy room with noise from 7am and who don't respond to emails.

Finally leaving!

The noise of roadworks from 7am was untolerable and we were given no forewarning (to get ear plugs or rearrange stay elsewhere) or apology. They have refused to reply or acknowledge our complaint. Small stuffy room. Fan had little effect on cooling the room down so we needed the windows open.

Yeri çok kötü sokakta inşaat vardı kapalıydı. Otelin önünde hayat kadınları bekliyordu. Başka otele geçmek zorunda kaldım. Masrafım çok arttı.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis für eine Nacht

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir durften unsere Räder hinter die Rezeption stellen. Fas Frühstück war gut, alles da von Müsli über Eier, Croissants....usw Das hotel ist vom Bahnhof super leicht zu erreichen.

Die ganze Straße ist eine Baustelle. Gegenüber dem hotel ist eine Disco, da ist die ganze Nacht Lärm. Man kann also nicht bei offenen Fenster schlafen. Bei geschlossenem Fenster geht's aber gut.

We stayed only for one night because we needed to change in Geneva - for that purpose the hotel is great, it's very conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the central station (the train to the airport from Geneva central station takes only 7 minutes). The hotel is also a 5 minutes walk from the lake and central Geneva, so we got to explore the city although we didn't have that much time. The reception is open 24/7, check-in and check-out were very smooth.

We are not complicated, so everything was fine. If you are a very light sleeper, and the window is open, you might hear the noise from the street. But the windows look like they provide sound insulation, and there is also an air conditioner, so it should be possible to sleep with closed windows.

Nice location with good price. Everything is fine. Decent hotel. Recommended!

Basically no complaint except the heater is too hot in the night, hard to get in sleep.

The room is soundproofed, and clean.

The only thing I didn't care for was the view from my room. I understand that not every room gets to point towards something spectacular and mine just happened to be the back of the hotel. This was no issue at all, I didn't look out the window much anyway

The service was fine.

My room was smelling of cigarettes upon my arrival but was fine for the rest of my stay. Not sure how it happened as the rooms are non smoking, the management should ensure all smoke detectors function well.

Comfortable room in convenient location to public transport

Friendly staff and convenient location. Room was clean with good water pressure in the shower. it was fine for our requirements.

we had to move out a night early because it was such a bad place. they would not refund our money despite explaining how

not a lot.

We booked 2 rooms for our family. both were very small and had portable air con units that were extremely noisy but you couldn’t open the windows because it was too noisy outside. location in the red light district was not suitable for families but this was not mentioned in the description.

One Night in LAVA

The hotel is quite close to the train station. It makes it really within the idea location if you want to catch an early morning train next day. Restaurants are pretty close by and neighborhood is quite "lively", as it is located within the red light district.

They don't have an airconditioner. It needs to mentioned in bold on their booking.com page. As this hotel desperately need a cooling system. I have been traveling for sometime and never encountered a hotel without an airconditioner and that hotel claims to be a three star.

Good place to stay

Despite the cheap look from the outside and the reception, the room was superb and very well kept. Toilet and shower are separated so gives you the option of 2 people using the facilities at once. Very central, close to Cornavin Station and downtown

If anything, the TV didn't work despite the employee tried his best, but was a small inconvenience

Very good hotel to stay with lots of opportunities nearby but costly.

Location was good, near to central station, nearby lots of restaurants and other places, lake is also on walking distance.

Breakfast facility not available. Too much costly per night 110CHF.
