A very comfortable hotel with welcoming staff

Immaculately clean, well appointed, centrally located in old town, comfortable beds, great hot shower. The staff were super helpful and we could leave baggage with them without issue. Stunning view from our room and a generous breakfast included. This hotel was excellent value of money.

Ticked all of our boxes for a one night stay. Wish we’d had time to explore Chur in the daytime.

It was close enough to walk to the train station, the staff were friendly, rooms clean and breakfast very nice.

Loved the guide with local restaurant recommendations and history. Cute decor, well maintained, good location. Staff was hospitable though a little gruff (authentic Swiss experience).

Wifi was out in my wing, also they put me in the furthest possible room up and down like 3 small staircases that got a bit hot though the weather was mild.

Nice independent hotel in quiet location, would recommend overall

Pros - lovely quiet location, very good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Large room.

Very 'loud' bathroom design in room, strange designed pillows. Could have advised guests on check in of 'Guest Pass' available for visitors to save money on museums etc - there was a notice in the lift however but verbally would have saved us some money. Could do with help to run breakfast service, too much for 1 person.

Great location and friendly staff

the location of the hotel was great, in the old town part and only 10 min walk from the main station. The staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast served by the hotel was very good and much better of what you could have in the nearby restaurants.

The bed linens and cushions need to be improved.

Location was excellent. Rooms basic but very tidy and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice views from the window. Chur is just so beautiful!

History, Location and Staff.

Let’s start with the history of the place. Almost 500 years it’s been operating as a hotel. I’d say that speaks for itself with that longevity. The location of the property couldn’t have been better. right in the center of Old Town. Only minutes walk from eateries and museums. 10 minute walk from the Train station makes it easy for transpiration. The room was great. The amenities were just right. Cute little bar located across from reception and the breakfast was a full on Buffy with nothing less than something for everyone. Lastly the Staff went out of there way to make sure you were happy with everything.

At this moment I found nothing that I didn’t like about the property.

Lovely Hotel In Old Quarter

Our family of 6 had a comfortable stay. The hotel was well located in the beautiful old quarter of Chur and a quiet part of town. We had lovely view from our room over the town and mountains. It was a wonderful breakfast included in the price.

Great hotel with a wonderful staff

The property is close to the train station and all the shops & restaurants. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast - lots of hot & cold options. The front desk staff was awesome! They were so kind and friendly and helpful.

Not a real issue. But the rooms are small.

Just a beautiful location and a very comfortable atmosphere. It was everything I hoped for and more. Great breakfast.

There was nothing I didn’t like except the fact I didn’t stay longer.

We loved Chur, a starting point for the Bernina Express, and would likely return to the same hotel.

Great location. Helpful staff with good suggestion for dinner. Good breakfast.

There are still a lot of stairs once one takes an elevator to the third floor annex. Our room was located up an almost circular staircase on a top floor, which was difficult to manage for two seniors with suitcases. If you're a senior, be sure to request a room that's accessible by elevator.
