Friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. We ate in the bar ( restaurant was closed) and the food was excellent: fresh and tasty.
The road outside is very noisy. We’d paid extra for a room with a balcony so we could relax there by the lake, but the road was so noisy it made relaxing there impossible. We had to keep windows shut to keep the noise out.

Breakfast huge selection really good, something for everyone. fresh smoothies.
Rooms really high quality huge comfortable bed, lovely bath and shower.
Much nicer than shows in photos. big room felt luxurious. Amazing to be right next to the sauna and area to swim in the lake!
The road was a bit noisy with traffic but I expected this from photos. Couldnt hear anything with windows closed. The room was a bit hot
so we wanted them open

Location to lake was great. Staff at breakfast were very good.
We were allocated an outbuilding not in the actual hotel (room no 18). We had specially asked for 2 rooms together as we were travelling with our son, who was given a single room in the hotel itself. The room had a strange configuration, the bathroom window had no blind and was adjacent to another property therefore not private, I found this unacceptable.
The room had a ‘terrace’ view which again was not private. We came back from a day out to find 3 cyclists sitting on our terrace, as they said it was sunny! We asked them to move but they continued to sit. Two of the room windows overlooked the terrace so we had to close the curtains to have privacy from them.
The room had stairs leading to up to it. These stairs and the terrace are not lit in the evening, therefore unsafe and difficult to navigate in the dark, luckily we had a torch which we required to get safely to the door.
The staff at the hotel were very good, but the room was not.
