Die großzügige Saunalandschaft mit Zugang zum See. Gutes Frühstück, Restaurant mit sehr gutem Essen

Die Lage ist top - abseits des Straßenverkehrs, direkt am See mit herrlichem Blick. Rad/Spazierweg fuehrt direkt am Haus vorbei. Schoener Indoorpool. Sehr gutes Fruehstuecksbuffet mit gutem Kaffee.
Hotel ist zum Teil in die Jahre gekommen. Viel (!) zu wenig Liegestuehle auf der Liegewiese bei so vielen Zimmern.

The hotel is in a great location on the edge of the Tegernsee. Our split-level junior suite was very comfortable, as were the chairs on the balcony - comfy rocking chairs from where to watch life drift by on the See. The lakeside terrace was well shaded and the bar prices very reasonable, and a very good breakfast there concluded a relaxing and very pleasant stay.
We knew the room did not have air conditioning and would have not expected it in an older hotel. However, I've been travelling to Munich for the last 8 years and living there for the last 4, so hot summers aren't unexpected, so the lack of some form of fan was missed, especially during the heatwave.

Nice location on the lake and their wellness centre was mostly good. Staff were helpful.
My room was not very nice. Small, dated decor, no kettle to make a cup of tea, looked out to a big muddy paddock over the road. Also the hot tub in the wellness centre wasn't hot!
