Staff very friendly and helpful, location very good .
The hotel is a bit dated and not sure if it’s a 4* as it says. Blankets very old, no duvet cover, pillows very uncomfortable.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast had a lot of variety and quality.
The room was small.
The bed was hard and not very comfortable.
Fire alarm went off at 3am. The way the staff handled it was very poor. Not confidence inspiring at all. I didn't feel as though I was being listened to in terms of the rooms being checked and double checked. Other hotel guests, who had children, were understandably concerned too.
The room was too hot and the ventilation did not work to cool it down. I turned the temperature down on the thermostat only to find the staff had turned it back up upon my return for the evening.
The walls are very thin - I read this is other reviews and thought it can't be bad, but it is.
Overall the hotel lacked atmosphere.
