We had a wonderful stay at the Marfil Hotel. The location is very convenient, with restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance. The car park is about a three-minute walk from the hotel, but guests can easily load and unload their luggage right in front of the property before parking. We did not find this inconvenient at all.
The welcome we received was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of options. A nice touch was the fresh orange juice machine, where you can squeeze your own juice. It was the perfect way to start the day.
The room was not as clean as we had expected. Although housekeeping serviced the room every other day, the toilet paper was never replenished, which meant we had to visit reception to request more.
Aside from that, we would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper, as the walls are quite thin and noise from neighboring rooms can be noticeable.

Clean, friendly welcome and staff was amazing
The room was noisy, lots of noise coming from outside and other rooms, I could hear the person in the other room snoring, and all movements in the surrounding rooms. At night, it sounds like someone was moving heavy furniture around the room above.
The room itself was great, a comfortable bed and spacious room. Overal great👍

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a huge variety of options to choose from every morning. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was also perfect — close to everything in San Antonio and especially very near the harbor, which made exploring the area super convenient.
