Our room had a fabulous view of the lake and very comfortable beds. It was warm despite the low temperatures at night in Puno. Perfectly located for cafes and nightly entertainment of parades through the streets

Location was ideal very close to the center on a nice safe street. Comfortable rooms. The reception staff was friendly, the restaurant staff was lacking.
Upon our 6pm arrival we headed upstairs for dinner but hard to find anyone there for service and when we did it was very slow and took a lot of time for a simple meal despite us being the only people there.
Lovely view from the restaurant but they need a sunshade in the front room with the windows as everyone crammed in the back smaller room because of the glaring sun that made it almost impossible to sit in the larger room.
A simple addition of curtains for the sun beaming in would make a big difference.
They had extra wool blankets in the room which was nice and a bathtub & shower.
They provided tea in the reception area at all times.
We had a " family room" with a small kitchenette. They provided pots& pans but nothing to cook on, no cups, no glasses, no plates or utensils.. very strange... so a useless amenity. Not even a coffee maker!
The bathroom floors were shiny slick tile so VERY slippery when wet.
In the evening & morning the restaurant man tended to hide behind a wall and 2 of the mornings strangely wore a mask and completely covered from head to toe, so if he was sick, it would have been better to have him stay home and not contamínate the food area.
(coincidently my daughter and I both ended up with colds after we left here, so it got me wondering. )
