Location was great. Strangely on check in we were not told about the free spa which was fabulous. The original room we booked was awful and quite frankly depressing (this was not the entry level room) so we upgraded at huge expense to a new room, this room was acceptable but not worth the money we paid. I have never done this in a hotel before. Overall the hotel is tired and is overpriced. Having said that we did enjoy our stay in Marstrand.

The Breakfast buffet was Excellent!
On Sunday evening there were no dining options on Marstand after 8:30pm. The Hotel restaurant also closed early.
We were pleasantly surprised when the young lady at the reception offered to go into the kitchen herself and may us each a very nice sandwich. Please let her (the person who was alone on duty on May 17th evening) be recognised by the management and send her our best Regards!

On arrival the reception told me they had given my room to someone else because they had complained about their room being too cold. They finally found me a room and told me id have to move the next day to another room which i refused as this wasnt my fault and i was up and out early as i was on another island at a wedding. Three times while i was at said wedding they rang me to ask why i haven't come to move rooms! After explaining over and over each time that i wasn't it was Really annoying when I'm trying to enjoy a family wedding. On check out they then asked again i was supposed to move and why didnt i
