About this villa rental
Located in Iowa, this lovely villa for $191 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This golf villa is approximately 7 miles or 15 minutes to Downtown Galena. This home is NOT pet friendly. You will sleep 4 comfortably in the 2 Queen beds and the loft has a Queen sofa sleeper for additional sleeping space - we sleep 4 in beds +2 on the sofa sleeper in the loft area. Creekwood Galena Vista is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath golf villa that has been recently updated and has a great split level layout. Wander upstairs to the Queen bedroom with private full bathroom and enjoy your private space. Step out from the bedroom into the loft area, this is the best spot for your +2 to unwind. Travel to the lower level where there is another Queen bedroom with full bathroom. Each of our bedrooms have a flat screen smart tv with Netflix, Disney + and more for you to stream. The lower level the kitchen and dining areas are open to the living room which boasts a wood burning fireplace (we provide the firewood too), flat screen smart tv and cozy vibe! Easy access to the deck out back highlights the seasonal view of the Eagle Ridge South Golf Course. There is a gas grill located onsite and we provide the propane. As our guest you will have access to the GTA Owners Club. The indoor pool is open year-round and the outdoor pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day (sometimes longer). The club is an exclusive amenity that can be used by only Galena Territory property owners and their guests. The Owners' Club includes an indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool w/slides, a kiddie pool, fitness room, game room, indoor/outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, seasonal snack bar, free WiFi, and outdoor playground. Don’t forget to visit Lake Galena, The Shenandoah Riding Center and hiking trails throughout the 6,800-acre property. Disclaimer: You may not have enough cards for your entire group. Guest passes can be purchased for just $5 a day at the GTA admin office or pool entrance, staying with us grants you access, it may not be free. Please remember usage of the amenities is NEVER guaranteed. We do not discount or refund due their closure. When you book a home with us we will require 30% down, this is a payment not a deposit. The full balance is due 14 days prior to check in. If you cancel prior to the 14 days you will receive the first payment less a $35 cancellation fee. At the 14 day mark your stay will become non-refundable and dates cannot be adjusted. Please Note: You will be required to sign an electronic rental agreement at the time of booking, we ask this be signed and filed within 48 hours of receiving to guarantee your reservation. You must be 25 or older at the time of booking and present during the entire stay. Your payments will automatically be processed to the card you place on file at the time of booking. Your rental agreement (sent after booking) will reflect the due dates and amounts. We do not have a Covid or weather Cancellation Policy, we highly recommend the travel insurance offered at check out. *Check in details are sent 3 days prior to your arrival to the email on file. This includes the address, access code and other pertinent home/area information. Early check in is never guaranteed and cannot be considered until the night before or morning of your arrival. The check in details will cover this process.

Loved the condo! Everything was better than expected and just the right size for two couples. We enjoyed the fireplace every evening! Think you’d want to know that the dishwasher is not attached to the counter and kept falling out when we placed dishes in it. Just needs a couple of screws. Also there were not nearly enough washcloths in the bathrooms...just five cloths for 4 people for three nights. We hope to visit again in the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We returned to Galena for the first time during the summer in quite a while! This golf villa was in a great location, not too far from town, in a nice and quiet spot. The decor was really nice and it was so clean! The furniture was comfy, with lots of pillows and blankets, too! My family of 5 enjoyed playing the board games the villa had during a rainy, story night. Would definitely rent again.

Whether a rental is clean is a top priority for us and this property certainly was. No black feet/socks. No overlooked areas of grime. No dust anywhere. Even the outside patio was guest-ready. It was perfect. The property was cute and comfortable, with lots of extras to make the stay wonderful. We're totally coming back.

Townhouse was clean and spacious for us. TV didn’t have network TV which meant we couldn’t watch the NBA finals which was a bummer. None if the streaming worked either. Good location for going to Galena. Nice outdoor area. Downstairs bathroom adequate but could use updating.

Only my 2nd time in Galena, both times have stayed in Galena Territory. Once in the winter, once in the summer. Indoor and outdoor pools are great, I found pool rules to be very lax, which I enjoyed. Appreciated having laundry soap provided. And was fun watching the golfers to pass the time on the patio.

This was a great find in Galena! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do so again! We booked for Halloween weekend, not realizing what that means in Galena. So glad we did not book closer to the party. Enjoyed the party but was able to go back to the quiet dark of this condo community. That said, owner needs to hear that housekeeping between stays is lacking. Wine glasses were dirty in the cupboard. Per instructions dishwasher to be run at checkout. Prior apparently filled dishwasher but did not run. Dishes were simply put away dirty. Gel pod still in the soap dispenser and coffee/wine stains in the bottom if dishwasher. Bathroom window was unlocked and upstairs sitting area needed vacuum.

My wife and I needed a quiet getaway, and our stay was exactly that. Condo was immaculate, amenities were abundant, could not have been better. We were so relaxed the first full day, we never left the condo. Kept a fire going all day, and really enjoyed doing nothing. Enjoyed Galena, did do a lot of antiquing and did find some treasures. All in all, a tremendous stay.

Everything was great and was exactly as described in the photos. The only suggestion I would have was to organize the kitchen a bit better, it wasn't easy to find what we needed in a tight space. Location was great, property was clean and we had a nice weekend away from Chicago.

The setting is absolutely beautiful, as well as very peaceful and quiet. The property has a nice layout and furnishings and was clean and well maintained.
We wish we had been informed that the guest passes were in a box in the unit, as we didn't find them until the second day just before we thought we had to pick them up at the Owners Club. There was a little glitch re dishwasher soap that the manager took care of very promptly.

Poor Communication
I arranged for a weekend stay for my daughters and their children. We live over 2 hours away and attempting to communicate with Meghan Anderson was less than ideal. I spoke with her 4 weeks prior asking for possible early check in. She told me to reach out day prior or morning of. She was less than helpful, very delayed in responses and basically kept repeating "can't guarantee early check-in". I never asked for a guarantee I simply asked if it was possible. I was trying to arrange a leave time based on her response. It took her 19 hours after a "Let me see" response to text me back to state she was still waiting on an answer. If she simply would have said "no" then at least we would no on our end and can make travel plans accordingly. The condo floor was filthy, the table was tacky and unclean, the dishes and pots/pans needed to be cleaned before using and the condo had a very strong odor that remained on our clothing and children's blankets when we returned home.
Upon initial contact with Meghan I had to go through a barrage of questions regarding my daughters ages and their daughters ages concerned a party at the residence could ensue based on their ages??? My daughters are all adults and their daughters are 6 yeas and younger. I had to assure her there would be no risk of a party at the rental. Very disappointed!

We went on a girls trip for a long weekend. Great space for 3, 4 would be the max to me. Only 2 bathrooms with the upstairs one only able to have 1 person in at a time. We were running low on toilet paper, I texted and they delivered ASAP. No towels for the pool though so make sure to bring your own. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. Very peaceful and full of nature!
