After reviewing so many hotels in Taipei, we settled on Just Sleep Ximending. We wanted to be by Taipei Main Station and this hotel was 1 stop away but we settled on Just Sleep because we booked a triple room for our family of 3. The hotel is located in Ximending, an upcoming trending neighborhood with a night market a few steps away. The hotel lobby is located on the 5th floor. It also had a Hello Kitty 7-11 convenience store at street level with an ATM. The room was spacious with 3 separate twin beds. There was also a table which seats 4 people. There was space to put our luggages and many places to hang clothes or use the hanging knobs. Our view faced the Main Street and since our room was in the corner we had a great view of the city plus we did not hear any street noise or noise from neighboring rooms. The breakfast served had asian and western foods and it did change daily. We also had access to coffee/tea everyday and snacks were provided in the late afternoon into evening. We figured out that there was an elevator midway down the block to take you down to the mall level and easy access to Taipei's train system (Blue Line) so we didn't have to walk any stairs. It was great to use this elevator after a full day of sightseeing with my achy knees (location X6). The lobby staff, chefs, waiters/waitresses, and housecleaning were all great especially during breakfast when staff was clearing out dishes and cleaning tables. On the last day our plane back home was scheduled for 7pm. The staff was more than happy to let us stay in our room for 3 hours for an additional cost which was not expensive at all. Overall, this was a great choice for a family of 3. We paid a bit more but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is amazing - rooms are great, aesthetics are so fun, the bathrooms are great with big showers, the bed was so comfortable. The hangout spaces are a real plus and puts this hotel ahead of the others. The staff were all so kind and friendly. Cold/hot water dispensers of every level. Unbeatable location - just down from ximen exit 5, a 2-3 mins walk to the main ximending area and one station from Taipei main station. I loved everything about staying here.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and polite.
The toilet facilities was not good. The toilet cover was broken, the cleaning staff never noticed that and also the bad smell was released from somewhere. We stayed in a triple room, however the third bad was not equipped with the electricity bulb for cellphone charge and lighting.
