I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. First of all the welcoming I got from reception was exceptionally good. I think out of all the countless hotels I´ve stayed in in PH this was the most welcome I have felt. I stayed in the traditional huts and they are so cool and beautiful. And even though they are built with natural things I NEVER even saw one bug or mosquito inside.
The location is also very good its just a short walk to the main area, 1 minute I guess, but its still away from the noises of the parties and also away from all the sand which is a plus for me. So I definitely can recommend it!

First of all, the resort is simply wonderful. It’s located right on the main road, but once you’re inside, you can’t hear any of the traffic noise at all. The location is also great. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Station 2 beach, and on the way there you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and other places to eat.
The whole resort is very peaceful, with lots of plants and a lovely pond with fish and turtles, which were definitely the highlight for the kids.
The staff were always very friendly, helpful, and attentive, and everything was kept very clean throughout our stay.
We booked two different accommodations, a villa and a standard Superior Room. My wife’s family stayed in the villa, and from everything I saw and heard, everything there was great as well.
Overall, everything in the Superior Room was fine, but there were a few things I would at least like to mention.
Unlike in the villa, the air conditioning in the Superior Room was blowing directly onto the bed, so it got quite cold at night. This is obviously a matter of personal preference. Some people (Like my wife) might really like it, but for me it was a little uncomfortable.
The refrigerator was also quite noisy whenever the compressor kicked in. This was especially noticeable at night and woke me up several times. It would suddenly get quite loud and then become quiet again after a few minutes.
The Wi-Fi in the room was unfortunately not really usable. Outside on the veranda, or in the villa across from us, the connection was perfectly fine.
We also had a few minor issues during our one-week stay, including no hot water, no water at all for a short time, and a clogged toilet. To be fair, the staff always took care of these problems very quickly, so we never had to wait long for them to be fixed. Still, since these things did happen during our stay, I think it’s worth mentioning them.

Nirvana Beach Resort is a charming tropical style resort with lush foliage, resident turtles, cats, and carp, and the friendliest staff you could ask for.
