wonderful

Beautiful old hacienda, full of history with its wide collection of items. the gardens and common areas were outstanding and the food really incredible!

the floor in our aisle was squeaky since we were in an old part of the hosteria. also noises from people passing were fairly loud.

Romantic accommodation

The room was very nice, very clean and with everything I needed. The food from the restaurant is very tasty. They have a SPA and I did a massage very relaxing (thank you Vanessa!), the best ever. The staff is nice and welcoming.

It's very hard to find something I didn't like.

A unique place to stay, kind of a time travel.

I loved that it is like being in the old times. I loved the feeling of the wood floor, the smell of the fireplace on, the rabbits on the patio, the antiques etc. It is like staying in a museum. An unique place.

There is nothing I did not like.

Take time to explore the hallways, they are each unique.

The entire facility is an amazing museum of beautiful works of art, furniture, and artifacts. The food is fantastic and the grounds are lovely.

it would be so interesting to have audio cassettes to rent in different languages to explain the unusual collections throughout the hosteria. What they are, how old they are, where they are from, etc.

Go by this place, for a meal, for a walk, and definetely for a stay

This hacienda house is HUGE, beautiful, and the owner is a collector of antiques and religious art, which makes this a stay in museum! The staff is beyond caring and welcoming and the food was all great. The rooms are huge (and so are the beds).

I wish our stayed had been longer!

Wish we were able to stay longer!

The room was decorated for our arrival. The fire water was a nice treat. The furnishing inside the common areas were wonderful. The food was great!

Highlight of our trip to Ecuador!

We can’t say enough great things about our stay. the property is amazing and well kept with so much history and options to explore. the food was delicious. I recommend the volcanic stone steak, incredible! Finally, the service was excellent from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The manager was very attentive and helped us setup a massage that was out of this world. We wish we could recall everyone’s names, all were friendly and welcoming. If we visit this area again, we will definitely stay here. highly recommend!

A legendary place to Stay

Everything. To begin with, it I have to say Oscar made our stay unforgettable. Indeed, it was our honeymoon and he took it seriously. Our room was beautifully decorated with Rose 🌹 petals like in Movies. The room was big, clean and very comfortable. You have to understand that this is a legendary place where plenty of important (back in the days) people went overnight and some of them actually lived there. (During the Conquistador era) Unique Hostería with so much history and a great library where you can find absolute gems from the past. The place is gorgeous (but too close to the Panamericana Rd). If you get to talk to Oscar ask him a room at the end of the Hostería, it's very quiet. There is also a beautiful view on the Chimborazo Volcan. About 40min drive to the top. Breakfast was very good, diversified and tasty!!! The staff is professional and friendly. We enjoyed our honeymoon and will never forget the hospitality received from the staff in particular Oscar. Hopefully we can come back one day..

Tranquil resort built for relaxation with a staff committed to excellent customer service!

Breakfast was excellent...a full breakfast with choices! Dinners were amazing - both in terms of excellent choices, outstanding flavors and lovely presentations! The wait staff was awesome...totally focused on great service! Rooms were well appointed - most comfortable. Spa was AMAZING! Do not miss out on the spa! And Front Desk/Reception was awesome as well...very welcoming.

Would have liked an option of toast with the breakfast rather than rolls - as well as pancakes or waffles.. Showers are a little challenging for older folks with any type of mobility issues.

amazing!

Location is 1h near to Tungurahua vulcano and Chimborazo vulcano. Lovely facilities. They allowed my pet with no problems coz they're pet friendly.

Evethough everything was far beyound my expextations, I only suggested to the staff more cozy towels

It is a special hotel, allí areas are interesting.

Chance the label of the Simon Bolívar room instaed of Auditorium. Visitors open the door thinking it is a hall.

Very easy to access from the main road. Lovely staff and charm facility, with a lot of history in all rooms. Very good food at the restaurant.

Although the wifi worked very well in almost the entire Hotel, it could be a bit faster or at least this was the signal we got from our room. Nothing that bothered us.
