Sa Bisbal - Turismo de interior

Wonderful property in the middle of the Selva old town: romantic, comfortable, great privacy.

All was almost perfect - the air condition was a little weak (but it was also 36°C outside).

Lovely room (no 3), spacious and lots of historical charm. Hotel operates in two buildings and you can use both of their amenities. There are two pools, one in Sa Bismal, and another one (infinity) in the building across the street. Self-service bars with drinks and snacks was really appreciated. We loved both! Very friendly and helpdul staff. Breakfast was nice, not huge, but a bit different every day and you can order different kind of eggs prepared on the spot. It was really plenty and varied enough for us. Very clean and AC was working perfectly with and ideal room temperature all the time - we did not even have to touch the AC control. The town is small and cosy, rather quiet. Try Selvatge restaurant - quality food and service.

The only thing is the parking. There is no hotel parking, so you have to park in the town. Most of the times we found parking spaces close to the hotel, but once it was packed and we had to park further away and it seemed we parked normally, as other cars were parked there as well, but apparently we broke some rules, as we found a parking ticket with 40 eur fine in the morning. So, be careful.

Although the main house is smart and the pool pretty (once the maintenance issue was fixed) room 5 is small, a bit dark and has a limited view. Also the shower was quite weak.

Beautiful old building, stunningly converted. Great excellent quality buffet breakfast selection, inc. hot food if desired, served in Can Cota (sister hotel across the road). Idyllic breakfast terrace. Pools in Sa Bisbal and Can Cota. The later a small infinity pool over looking the plains of Majorca with the sea in the far distance. Plenty of loungers in various parts of the delightful gardens. Very comfortable beds, plenty of hot water. Immaculate rooms. Very quiet location in charming old town.

It should be noted that Selva is a very quiet town, a few cafes, not many restaurants and as far as I could tell only one shop (a supermarket). This was a bonus to me as I loved the peace, but might not be for everyone.
