The breakfast was amazing and it was convenient to be able to eat before leaving on our side trips without searching for food. We also appreciated how close it is to the train station!

The location of this hotel is just superb. You can go directly to Nagano station via the connecting bridge and take an elevator right into the hotel. Perfect for rainy days. Lawson is on the ground floor directly outside the elevator and Donki is on the second floor. Being so close to the station just makes getting around much easier. The hotel itself is nice, I liked the room layout for having a space for my luggage and a small corner couch. Even if it's small it's well laid out. The staff was great, probably the most attentive and friendly of all the hotels I visited on my last trip. Breakfast was pretty good with some local specialties, I really liked the salted salmon but my travel companion wanted more baked stuff and pastries. Washing machines was also some of the best on my trip, combined wash/dry with realtime updates on your in-room tv and pay by IC-card.
Bathroom was a bit on the small side and outdated compared to some other hotels. It can be a bit of a nuisance that you have to take to different elevators every time you enter/exit the hotel. There was some renovation being done on the hotel with noise from the outside and one of the elevators was completely covered in plastic wrap for servicing. While still usable it was a bit weird.

The view from the room was so good, I could see the entire road and Zenko-ji from the window. Perfect location to entertainment and restaurants.

Friendly staff, convenient location if you don't have a car to park.
There is no where to park your car while unloading it in front of the hotel, so you have to stand behind the bus stop and stress. Then drive around and try to find an empty one. Quite steep prices around the area unfortunately.
