It was fantastic! Quiet and clean. The restaurant (needs reservation) was very delicious, but a bit pricey.
The furniture is a bit outdated.

Das Restaurant war sehr gut (Achtung, Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag, siehe unten) und auch das Frühstück war gut, es findet in dem modernen Zweitbau des Hotels statt mit schöner Sicht.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer von Montag bis Donnerstag gebucht und hatten das Hotel auch wegen des gelobten Restaurants und der Sauna ausgewählt. Als wir ankamen, erfuhren wir, dass das Hotel Dienstag und Mittwoch Ruhetag hat - was bedeutet, dass sowohl das Restaurant als auch die Sauna geschlossen sind. Da wir Montag Abend ankamen, konnten wir auch an diesem Tag die Sauna nicht mehr nutzen. Zum Glück schafften wir es noch schnell ins Restaurant, die anderen Tage mussten wir uns anderweitig versorgen und es gibt nicht sooo viel außenrum. Die Info steht bestimmt irgendwo, ich hätte mir allerdings gewünscht, dass das prominenter kommuniziert wird, da sich für uns der Aufenthalt, auch zu dem Preis, dadurch etwas weniger gelohnt hat und wir uns für diesen Reisezeitraum vermutlich für eine andere Unterkunft entschieden hätten.

The location, the garden, the historic dining room, the excellent cuisine.
The guest rooms in the old building need updating. The new building with the spacious breakfast room plus terrace offer beautiful views of the lake and mountains.
