Owners were very welcoming and looked after us so well. House and surrounding area are just fabulous. Loved the house's historic period features. Comfortable four poster, lovely deep round top bath, huge rooms and our own lounge to relax in. Took advantage of the delicous platter offered all sourced locally. Breakfasts copious, eggs fresh from their own chickens and cooked fresh to order.
Fantastic area to visit. Visited Craven Arms 'Discovery Centre', the lovely Stokesay castle, the ruins of Clun Castle and the Postcard Cafe, Bury Ditches iron age hill fort, Church Stretton and the Long Mynd, the market town of Much Wenlock, Wenlock Priory and walked a circular path on Wenlock Edge. Just a great 3 day break and only around 40 miles from home in Worcester.
Nothing to dislike. Area has so much to offer, so much space to just explore
