Clean, well stocked, easily accessed (when roadworks will be complete). Unfortunately no lifts or anything to the rooms (for those that may need it) but the pub itself is all flat and easily accessible.
The bed was comfortable. The room was small but cozy. The bedding was good (thought it’s been too hot to use!)
The room in general was comfortable. We much prefer staying on top of pubs, especially when the owners are as nice as the Harps.
Everything was well stocked. The telly was in good working order with all your normal terrestrial channels.
The only thing we could’ve used with was either a fan (though I am sure if I asked, the owners would’ve tried to accommodate) or possibly some blackout curtains as the ones now let quite a bit of light in in the morning.

We had a nice stay overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly.
There were just a couple of little things that could have made it even better. There was only one towel in the room even though it was booked for two people, so we had to ask for another.
Also, there was a live band playing in the pub, and the music was really loud in our room. We don’t mind live music, but it would have been nice to have been told beforehand so we knew what to expect or could have asked for a quieter room.
Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay.

We were not sure what we expected, looked Ok from the web. When we arrived we were made very welcome and shown to our room so we could leave our bags and have a walk around. The focal point was the bar which had a good atmosphere.
The Harp Freehouse and Guesthouse is I would say 15-20 mins walk to the waterfront which has a number of good restaurants and gastro pubs. Breakfast is do it yourself and quite basic. Car parking was a bonus. For the money it was OK.
Not much. The bedroom was on the smaller size but comfortable. For one night stay is was OK.
