Check-in was straightforward and friendly. The room was well appointed; nothing special but then nothing wrong either. A bit small but then it was enough for what we wanted.
The lift was out of operation, and I had heavy luggage. Thankfully, I had only two flights of stairs to negotiate. The street was noisy at times and the seagulls started calling early in the morning, but nothing the hotel could do about that.

Friendliness of staff, central location, clean room
The lift was out of order yet again, it wasn't working in June, still out of order now , I have mobility problems and was given a room on the 3rd floor!

Excellent location. Pleasant staff. Fan provided.
Worn and tired. Felt dated. Very low bed caused difficulty. Sheets didn’t fit properly and pinged off. Room was cramped.
