We will definitely come back but the rooms need to be looked at as the season gets warmer

The restaurant and bar area were lovely and the staff were all so friendly.

The rooms were warm we could have done with a fan and thinner duvets

Visited the hotel for a mid week wedding, stayed extra few day to celebrate my birthday.

The pool was a nice touch, food was lovely. Lovely breakfast.

Room cleaning service was shocking.

Warm welcoming hotel with extremely helpful staff...

Clean, Well Equipped Hotel with lovely welcoming staff...Comfortable Beds and food was excellent.

The Swimming Pool boiler wasn't working on the day.. The water was very Cold... These things happen and will not put us off staying again...

Comfortable but a bit disappointing.

The staff were friendly and the beds were really comfortable. It was clean and welcoming

There was not enough staff particularly in the restaurant and it was very busy. It took a long time to serve then when we did it was not hot. We were compensated however and staff were apologetic. The breakfast was the same on the morning, not enough staff to fulfil the amount of people and we were constantly waiting for hot food. When it did come out, it was warm but not very hot. There were only 2 staff member on the floor and 1 chef in the kitchen. The spa facilities were nice ce, however the boiler had broken so the water was cold both pool and spa pool so were unable to use. This was one of the main reasons for using this hotel so that was disappointing.

Nice Hotel with comfortable room and excellent Gym however the few Staff were dedicated to regulars

The Gym and Leisure Facility was very good. Bar and Dining Room comfortable. Room very comfortable and clean.

The restaurant was busy with a senior citizens coach trip. The 3 restaurant staff we dedicated to support the trip and others were secondary so I can only assume the Hotel need to please the coach trip booking company which I understand. My company travel to this area 3 or 4 times a year and have tried a few Hotels to identify which one makes our staff most comfortable. We will keep looking which is a shame because the Gym was good.

Nice swimming pool

The hotel didn't meet the standards I'd expect for a price of well over £100 a night. The pool was great, but being part of a leisure club meant everyone from Gloucester was back and forth, which didn't make for the relaxing retreat I envisioned. The cooked breakfast was cold, food wasn't replenished enough and the counter area was messy. The fire exit was left open through the night which is a serious security risk. Random people were walking in and out of the fire exit at night and most of them smelt of weed. Bags of rubbish were left outside of rooms which made for an unsightly trip through the hotel. I've never seen this practice in a hotel before, and wouldn't have expected it from a hotel £100+ a night. Would have understood the price if it was near the city centre but this one was really out of the way.

Being expected to pay to park a car outside the place where you are staying is ridiculous. Spoils the whole experience.

Interior, bar the reception area was a little tired and dated. Evening meal overpriced for the quality of the food, nachos for starter were clearly out of a bag and not freshly cooked, and cheese nor even melted. Breakfast selection adequate, albeit staff very obliging

lack of staff availability, reception not staffed - have to press a bell for assistance & bar was the same. beds very hard & uncomfortable.

All of our party thought the place was perfect we had a great stay the staff were helpful and polite. The food was excellent. The rooms were very good clean and comfortable this was our second stay and we are already planning another stay. Thanks

pretty standard hotel

lovely and clean, easy to get around

we had to walk past the restaurant to get to our room, which felt awkward. the room was far too hot. the single bed was not comfortable at all. one of our party didn’t bring a toothbrush, and reception do not provide them

Disappointing in that we decided to taxi everywhere as the hotel wasn't on a bus route, and no meals

Bed was very comfortable.

Having advertised free parking we had to pay £15 to park. We couldn't get an evening meal until after 8.30pm.

located in the middle of a housing estate pool was knocked of and we were told to get out 15 min before it was supposed to end also room wasn’t cleaned even though we had make the room sign on the door also pool isn’t nothing like the pictures it wants a deep clean around about it . overall 5/10

we were told the room would be decorated for my partners birthday, when we got to the room nothing was decorated. when I questioned the reception team they said they couldn’t find the balloons, just a bit disappointed as was for a special occasion and it looked like I had made no effort.

Helpful staff, good facilities (including gym & spa), spacious & good value bedroom accommodation (suite).

Staff in the restaurant on the Saturday evening seemed quite stressed, and there was clearly a problem in the kitchen at breakfast time on the Sunday morning (people waiting for hot breakfast dishes for 20 minutes; I gave up in the end).

the room and staff were great but the spa was a disappointment

we were welcomed with a room upgrade and compliment drink for my partners birthday. the staff were super helpful and the room was above our expectations.

the sauna and steam room was great but the only downside was the pool didn’t seem to have any heating to it…the water was freezing. we had our little girl with us so we wasn’t able to take her swimming as it was way to cold for her to play!

in short we didn’t stay. it was that bad that we asked for our money back as there was no way we were staying there.

It was close to where we needed to be. Jamie front of house / reception and his colleague were fantastic. Jamie was so understanding, a complete professional. honestly he knows how to treat with customers.

extremely dirty and the room smelt bad. it was a very rundown hotel and room. Cracks on the walls and woodwork and the windows horrible.
