The localization, cleanness, room.
The breakfast was very poor. No ham, cheese, yogurts, few fruits and only industrial juices, for that cost should have more.

Location overlooking the ocean, clean and spacious room. Excellent restaurant with very tasty food! Staff spoke good English and were very helpful.
Packed breakfast provided when we went out on an early morning birding excursion. This is an important service, especially for birders.
It was perfect. We wish we could have stayed for an extra two nights, but unsurprisingly the hotel was full.

The staff was nice and welcoming. We had a partial ocean view from our room, which was lovely. The food was very good and the grounds were clean, well maintained and fresh. The pool was also very nice and offered a beautiful view of the ocean .
The hotel is in need of significant maintenance and upkeep. The door to our room had a large gap underneath, so we had to place towels along the bottom to keep lizards and insects from getting inside. The property also needs fresh paint, and some of the wood appeared to be rotting and in need of replacement.
The pool area also needs attention. Several of the umbrellas had visible rust, and parts of the fence surrounding the pool were broken.
When we first arrived, there was also a very unpleasant smell in the room, which may have been related to the sargassum in the water. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, but it would greatly benefit from some much-needed maintenance and renovations.
