Older motel in good tidy condition, with refurbished bathroom and an excellent shower. Towels changed daily .
Not a lot it has character and well maintained.

I booked at late notice due to having to leave another totally awful illegal dwelling that I'd booked through booking.com.
I was more than happy with Otaki Motel it was quiet comfortable, had everything I needed, nice having toiletries, nice plunge coffee etc. provided. Plenty of towels and nice fresh bedding.
Great value for money. I enjoyed the relaxing aspect plus the locality to pop up to Levin and to Waikanae today.
Enjoyed it so much I booked an extra night.
I recommend as value for money and I will come again.
No complaints. As others have said some things are a bit dated...but then I am a retro fan and cleanliness is the main drawcard which this place was.

Location was convenient, bed was comfortable and clean. Had a heat pump for warmth and an electric blanket on the bed.
The facilities - kitchen, bathroom, table etc were very old and worn. First impressions don't really inspire confidence when you first arrive.
