Central position, adjacent walks to Botanic Gardens and Cable Car, easy to drive to ferry terminal.
Lovely apartment, very comfy bed, breakfast provided, nice toiletries. Very good correspondence with owners.

Host provided a light breakfast which was amazing and kind.
Felt clean, well presented and smelt nice
Heaters were hard to work out- needed a manual but we worked out eventually
No outside area for the dog but botanical gardens right there to explore with the dog.
Key and combination took us abit to work out but we got it sorted.

Breakfast was provided as cereal, oats and or muesli. There was milk also provided which was a nice bonus.
There was a toaster. No bread.
We are not huge breakfast people so what was provided was adequate.
The B & B was advertised as a ground floor apartment. It was also advertised as free parking.
Neither of these were technically correct. To access the apartment you had to climb a significant flight of stairs. We were lugging cases because we were away for two weeks so getting up and down the stairs was awkward. I realise in the area ie Wellington the apartment would be considered ground floor as it was the lower apartment but a bit deceiving for those that have never visited the city before. The parking was not free nor was it on the property. It was find a spot in a zoned area and try to manage getting a coupon. As such we came in late parked the car without a coupon, (risking a fine) and had to leave early ie before 8 a.m. to avoid being booked. If parking is advertised as available then provide a park or coupon to put on or in the vehicle or dont advertise as parking provided. The apartment was essentially really only a one bedroom apartment with the second room turned into a second bedroom (this would have originally been a small lounge or parlour) As such the entire apartment consisted of two bedrooms a small kitchenette and a bathroom. No area to sit other than at the end of the bed with the biggest seats that could be found taking up the tiniest space and making it hard to move around the bedroom /lounge room. No TV in any of the rooms provided.
