We stayed in the room on the ground floor which is very convenient if you don't want to climb any stairs with suitcases. Easy access, in and out from the beautiful street which is quiet during the night. Now that I've been there, I would have preferred to book the upper level room with the lake view as waking up and seeing the sun come up over the caldera is amazing, but the price was quite higher and also I was concerned about climbing the stairs. If you don't mind these two factors, then book the upstairs room instead.
Would be nice if breakfast was served as optional the places around the house are not that great. We would have purchased it as additional if it was offered. Parking can be a challenge.

What went well was that Mimmo was sympathetic to the mistake I made in booking a room with no view. He moved me for my last night to the upstairs apartment which is breath-taking. Thank you for your kindness Mimmo
Nothing really. Just learnt the hard way to be sure I read the small print when booking online

I was walking the Via Francigena and the location is perfect. The owner let me into the room early which was greatly appreciated.
