About this farm stay rental
Gloriously secluded two bedroom eco house on an organic farm in the province of Tarragona, Spain. Olive tree terraces, swimming pool and wonderful sea views, it’s a 20 minute drive to the beautiful beaches and coastline around l’Ampolla. Finca Casita Guarda (The Guard House) was originally a farm storage building. We have worked tirelessly over the last few years to restore the land to its former glory and create an organic and sustainable olive farm which now produces high quality olive oil. As it is off grid, solar panels have been installed and rainwater is gathered and treated on the farm itself. As a guest, this means you can enjoy the mod cons of running water, shower, satellite TV, ice machine, etc, whilst knowing that you are not impacting the environment in any way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finca. The farmhouse is set in a lovely location with easy access to shops, the beach and Barcelona airport. There was also easy access to local villages and towns, we particularly liked L'Ampolla for its beach and restaurants. It would be hard if not impossible to stay at the house without a car, so do rent one if you're thinking of staying here!
Alex and Rosy were really helpful, they were on hand if we needed anything and provided us with plenty of information about the local area. We found that we didn't leave the house too much, the house was relaxing and comfortable. We explored the farm on foot, getting some great views across to the sea and spent a lot of time in the house, sitting outside and eating fresh local fish from the BBQ!
All four of us are in our twenties and the lack of wi-fi and signal was, we'd have to say, most welcome. Alex and Rosy's house is the perfect place to switch off and detach from the world. We often planned the day before when we had signal, which worked out excellently.
We would thoroughly recommend Alex and Rosy's house!

Alex est très accueillant et le lieu est superbe ,très au calme. Maison bien équipée en literie et linge de maison et éléments de cuisine. La maison est un peu éloignée des plages , je dirai plutôt 14 kms que 8 et le chemin pour quitter la propriété nécessite encore quelques aménagements, un peu cabossé sur 3kms. Sinon, repos absolu dans ce lieu dépaysant, sans connexion, du coup il ne faut pas avoir besoin du réseau sur place, mais ça vous fait une bonne excuse pour aller au restaurant aux différentes villes voisines. 40mn de Peniscola ou Cambrils et environ 15 min de tous les adorables petits villages portuaires.
