This 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom home corner home sits on Newport Beach's Balboa peninsula with expansive views of the ocean, Catalina Island, and all of the beautiful sights that Newport has to offer. Just a few houses away from the sand, this home was built by renowned builder Berk Properties and completed in 2018. It is one of the nicest and most expansive homes availabe for vacationing families in the City! Offering more than 300 days a year of sunshine makes this location one of the greatest in the USA. Millions of visitors flock to Southern California beaches every year, and for good reason. Enjoy this home with all of its beauty, not only in the house itself, but the amazing beach, boardwalk, and pier are just steps away. Beach chairs and toys are provided for your use as well. Included are the following high-end upgrades: Milgard triple pane windows and slider doors, custom cabinetry, Kohler plumbing fixtures, and a kitchen built with Viking professional series appliances and quartzite stone counters. Living space boasts 2,661 square feet of luxury. When you walk into the first level of the home you are welcomed by the beautiful kitchen. There is central heating and air throughout the home. The downstairs living room and dining area are a single space that is surrounded by large windows. Huge big screen TVs throughout the home as well as multiple board games in the living room are awesome for entertaining family and friends. The downstairs level has a stunning front patio fully equipped with comfortable patio furniture with extra seating and the patio offers a large gas grill, making it the perfect spot to grill up some burgers and mix some drinks. After dinner, kick your feet up and relax by the fire table up on the 3rd floor deck and enjoy the unmatched views on top of the world! The sunsets views are Epic! On the second level of the home are four bedrooms all with full en-suite bathrooms. The home was built with two separate master suites with master baths and king beds. There are two additional bedrooms, and a third-floor loft with a sleeper sofa, full bath and an amazing grand ocean view deck. The loft also includes a Pac-Man multi arcade system. The front master bedroom has an incredible view of the ocean as it sits on the 2nd floor overlooking the neighborhood. The bunk bed in the 3rd bedroom, has 2 full size beds. The third floor decks provide a 360-degree view of the ocean and the Balboa Peninsula. There is high speed Wi-Fi all throughout the house with hotspots as well as hundreds of channels of cable television. Enjoy surround sound in the living room as well as both master bedrooms and the ability to stream multiple media sources throughout the whole house sound system. You can enjoy a delicious meal at any of the close by casual or fine dining restaurants, or you can ride a bike over to the 32nd St. shopping center for local groceries. Accessible from the back if the home is the two car garage. From this home, the views of the sand, waves, and people are unbeatable. This home sells itself with its exquisite and modern charm. We rented this house as a family gathering to spend Christmas together. The house itself was perfect layout for 6 adults and 1 toddler and a baby. We really enjoyed the convent location as it was walking distance to the beach, a park and stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the different levels especially the rooftop. However when we arrive the outdoor courtyard area had a pile of beach toy and chairs which were full and sand and an unorganized mess which the patios looked like they had not been swept or blown. Also, the floors of the entire house were dirty as our sock and our toddler and crawling baby’s feet and hands were filthy after time spent on the floors. There was sand on the lower bathroom floors and the master bath tub prior to our use. When you read the check out list the property management states to leave the toys clean and put back in place and do not leave sand on floors or tubs. Management has been notified. I just wonder what our cleaning fee covers?

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It's one block from the beach and close to shops /restaurants etc. The house had everything we needed and was great for our family of 6. The rooftop with a view was a plus! I would highly recommend a stay.

We do wish the house had more beach chairs. For a house that sleeps 8, 3 chairs seems quite minimal.
We are loyal Marriott Titanium customers. We have never used the Villa program but have used many Airbnb and VRBO properties. We were quite disappointed to see the checkout rules. When on vacation the last thing we want to do is strip beds, remove towels, load the dishwasher one last time and empty garbages. Isn't this part of the service we are paying for? Airbnb and VRBO never ask you to do that.

This was our THIRD annual stay on this property. It is showing a little wear and tear as would be expected from constant renters, but it is still an amazing place! Sometimes there is a little noise on Balboa BLVD from cars at night, but never an issue for us.

Overall, we love 130 39th St home. This was our second year renting the home and we have booked it for 20 days next summer. I have communicated the issues with the TV system that needs to be addressed. The exterior landscaping needs to be addressed also. For longer stays, the owner should provide a cordless vacuum cleaner to do the floors each day.

Beautiful, clean rooms, comfortable family areas to gather in, large dinning room table for family dinners and roof top deck with fire pit to enjoy at night. Our family of 7 was looking to escape the Bay Area to remote learn from a new location for a few days. This property more than satisfied all our needs. Each of our 5 children had a room to sleep and we slept comfortably in the master suite at the front of the house. The house is located steps from the beach and although located on the corner of Balboa Blvd, was very quiet and no one had issues sleeping / or with noise. The wifi worked great for all 7 of us to work online during the day. We loved the rooftop fire pit and the garage was helpful for the guests who came to visit us for dinner. The beach is incredible here as well! Just an all around wonderful, last minute getaway in a newly renovated home!

Amazing!
This house was fantastic! Besides being beautiful and having an incredible location, it was clean, well stocked and fit the online description perfectly. The beds were heavenly, the rooftop deck was the perfect spot to relax with family and the space was great. The natural breeze that came through the house was amazing! I would 100% rent this house again!

Pictures are completely accurate. This house is amazing and a short walk to the beach.
Beds are super comfortable and kitchen is fully stocked with every dish you will need.
We had a problem with the refrigerator, I guess do to operator error, still not sure how that happened. NB vacations was on it and had a service tech out here to try and fix it the next afternoon.
I have a couple recommendations for you before you get here:
Make sure that there is propane for roof fire place and bbq. We came and had empty tanks (4 empty tanks) and It put a wrench on our first night, but got resolved the next afternoon.
Be careful with refrigerator. It’s a beautiful Viking fridge, but you have to triple check that it’s closed after every time you close it.
Enjoy your stay here. It’s everything and much more. You’ll thank me later, I promise!! ❤️

After four days at Disney this rental was a prefect way to end our vacation. The house finish’s are a high standard. We did have an issue with the lighting controls, they would come in at 10 pm every night and two of the TVs we couldn’t figure out. These we small inconveniences when you look at the house as a whole, we didn’t try to rectify the problems with the rental, you really don’t need a tv here anyway! Location is perfect for the beach or night life. Over all this rental was more that we expected.
