Location was great and spacious clean room with off road parking
No aircon in our room which directly was facing sun throughout the day making it quite warm! No port so had to carry all our bags and suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.

It’s a lovely place, only a couple of minutes drive from the Nürburgring. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
Rooms were a bit too hot, although that’s perhaps a bit unfair as it was a warm weekend anyway. But even with the windows open, you couldn’t get a draft. Would have been great to have air conditioning.

Good location and the bathroom was lovely, the hotel was very clean and the staff were all nice. Please read all my comments for a full picture.
The floor in my room creaked a lot so I had to walk around the outside so as not to disturb other guests. There was an issue on night 1 when some noisy residents in another block that started around midnight, by 01:45 I had had enough and went to sort it myself. I informed the reception the following day as there were no staff on the premises once the kitchen/bar staff left around. I asked what should I have done in light of no staff and was told I could call the main hotel number and someone would pick up as they do an on call rota. The drinking area outside the entrance to the hotel was also a source of noise albeit once that was generally quite after 23:00 and it would depend on which side of the hotel your room was on.
It was very warm during my stay but unfortunately no fans were available for guest use and although the rooms had great windows it was very hard to ventilate when there was no breeze outside. The pillows are far too soft, I asked for 2 extra and managed to fold them in two and by using all 3 pillows it was near to what one would expect for a UK guest.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were all nice, the breakfast was nothing special and having only 1 small toaster was not really good enough to suit the number of guests. The car park at the rear was OK so long as guests were respectful on how they parked and they are additional parking a short distance down the street.
In summary I don't think Hotel Rieder offered good value for money and I am sorry to say that I would not stay there again. I know they are plenty of positive reviews but I have reviewed as I found, single traveller wanting a decent night's sleep in a quite room.
