Information supplied prior to arrival was really helpful.
Staff were friendly.
Easy walk to/from central bus station (10/15 mins) and the main town (15/20 .ins)
Tea and coffee always available
Breakfast was a good buffet - adequate for my needs
There were some other guests who were noisy until late on one of the nights.

Breakfast was excellent specially the coffee. The owner is a gentleman and very pleasant. The rooms were clean - we had two each time we stayed at two different times. The rooms are very small. The second time we had a slightly larger room because there was a third bed for two people. There was a fridge in the hallway we could use and the water pressure was excellent in the bathrooms. The location is very easy to get to by car. We had a pleasant walk to downtown one day. The advantage of staying in a guesthouse is that you meet others and we had fun talking to other guests at breakfast.
The rooms are small and there's hardly enough space for two people and two suitecases, even two carryon only. Our second room had random lamps that couldn't plug in anywhere because of the way the room was set up. The cord would not reach the outset. That's why I didn't give a smiley face to the lighting question. The second time we stayed in the basement which had a musty smell. Upstairs, you could open the door to the balcony but not in the basement. Although the shower is excellent, there are just not enough of them, and there certainly aren't enough toilets in the large house like that when the house is full. When every room is occupied and 20 or so guests are trying to get to breakfast or out of the house, three washrooms aren't enough.
