Location, cleanliness, ease of check in and check out. very big so didn't seem crowded at all
The only complaint I have is the showers namely the lack of water pressure.

The hostel is located two minutes from the cathedral and city centre. It has female dorms. Well equipped kitchen. It was very quiet.
Three out of four showers didn't work. Showers in the other area didn't have working lights. Customer service on the phone absolutely useless. No lockers in the dorm

Excellent location for walking into Reykjavik. Free car parking on site. Very clean. Plenty of utensils and crockery in the kitchen. We had a private room for our group of 4 which was very spacious. Good communication from the owners. Keypads to get into each room.
Due to ongoing renovations they were unable to provide us with a private room with a private bathroom, which we had booked. They told us this 2 weeks before we arrived and offered us free cancellation or a discount.
No hot plate in the kitchen on our floor (although it did have a microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster).

Location was great. Kitchen worked well for us. Not many other guests in the area at any one time.
Room was spartan. Not even a chair to sit on. Bunk beds were adequate, made for younger travellers.
