Proximity to the main bus station - only 3 minutes walk to catch the early morning airport transfer bus; 15 minutes walk to the center; Convenient, free and very decent coffee. Also, very responsive staff.
I don’t mind the exterior at all, but if it’s one thing to improve, I’d say repaint the outside of the building.

Perfect for hikers in transit due to location next to bus terminal.

It is in a very convinient location, next to the bus station. Rooms are nice and beds are confortable.
The shower in the bathroom needed a renovation. The kichen was small and sometimes too crowded.

It should be said straight away that Travel Inn is a budget accommodation and should be seen as such. If you have a very heavy bag, like we did, the stairs to the basement will be an adventure, but the shared bathroom is nice and spacious.
In our case, were we placed in the basement in a room with a distinct bunker feel with narrow windows at ceiling height to the freedom outside. I have always had a hard time with this type of room that gives off a claustrophobic vibe and if I had understood that that was what we would get for our 12000 ISK, Should I´ve chosen a more expensive option.
