Le personnel était froid mais efficace quand on leur demandait quelque chose

The rooms were simple, but honest and comfortable for a few nights.

The shared bathroom was not clean and smelled bad.

- convenient for tours, as most will start here. You can also catch the bus to the airport straight from here. -6 bathrooms with shower each in the second floor, which helps makes it easier to find one not occupied -in general, the facilities were well kept and clean

-around 20 minutes walking from center town. Not much to do around the hostel and only one small convenience store around 15minutes walking. No restaurants around. -not the hostel fault, but some of the other guests might be from cultures that are not much respectful to others and might make noise until late. Again, not the hostel fault and kind of one of the cons of going to a hostel

Der Preis für die Übernachtung ist für isländische Verhältnisse spektakulär günstig!

Ein schlechteres Hostel gibt es bestimmt irgendwo auf der Welt, aber übernachtet habe ich darin noch nicht! Alles in allem war nur der supergünstige Preis grandios. Für alles Andere braucht man schon ein dickes Fell, viel Akzeptanz und Nervenstärke. Man sollte auch alle Schutzimpfungen haben! 😉 Es beginnt bei den Betten. Metallgestell, OSB-Platte mit Matratze. Die Schränke sind verschließbar ... wenn Du ein Schloß mitgenommen hast! Geht weiter bei Sanitär. WC und Dusche in einem Raum. Wenn jemand das WC benutzt, ist auch duschen unmöglich und umgekehrt. Für 8 Mehrbett-Zimmer sind jeweils 3 WC's mit Dusche da. Viel zu wenig! Keine Abstellmöglichkeiten. Hacken für Handtücher sind nicht in jedem Bad vorhanden. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist ein Ort der Unordnung und Unsauberkeit. Für etwa 60 Gäste gab es 2 Geschirrtücher alle 4 Tage. Ihr könnt Euch vorstellen, wie diese ausgesehen haben. Die Küche "nur" den Hostel-Gästen zu überlassen ist ... katastrophal! Der Abwaschlappen, die Schwämme und Bürsten, alles hat schon streng gerochen. Die Kühlschränke waren vollgestopft bis oben hin! Reinigungskraft war EINE vorhanden. Ausser Boden wischen und etwas Grundordnung, hatte er keine Zeit. Alles in Allem: Für ein/zwei Nächte als Durchreisender ... ok. Für eine Woche Aufenthalt ... nein, nie wieder!

O quarto é bem organizado, os funcionários são atenciosos. A cozinha tem 2 fogões, 1 microondas e 2 geladeiras, panelas e frigideiras.

Bien comunicado, personal muy amable. Baños limpios y cocina completa.

Solo había 1 enchufe en la habitación privada y el espacio era muy justo, preferimos dejar una maleta en el coche porque no nos podíamos mover. La habitación era más pequeña que la que se ve en las fotos y solo había espacio a uno de los lados de la cama, el otro lado estaba pegado a la pared.
