Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890

L'hotel si trova in un palazzo antico molto bello, ristrutturato con gusto e materiali di pregio, arredato anche con splendidi mobili antichi, circondato da un giardino rigoglioso e curato, dove ogni mattina è servita una colazione superlativa. Ogni momento del soggiorno è reso ancor più piacevole dalla cura e gentilezza dei proprietari e del personale. Un encomio particolare al ristorante stellato, che offre menu degustazione da sogno (noi abbiamo preso il menu tradizione e quello vegetariano, un'esperienza da ricordare e, soprattutto, da ripetere). Il luogo e l'atmosfera sono consigliatissimi per chi vuole trascorrere qualche giorno in assoluto relax.

The outstanding feature of this hotel is the care and attention provided by the staff who are delightful and attentive. The hotel also has the most beautifully maintained gardens, pool and seating area. Situated in a small village high above Sorrento it allows access to the Amalfia coast while enabling you to escape the very busy tourist areas. The restaurant is outstanding and sources most of the ingredients from the hotel's own farm which you can visit and has amazing views of the coast.`It is worth noting that the restaurant is strictly top end and probably not suitable for " everyday dining". There are however several other restaurants in the village. The breakfast served in the garden is a particular treat.

There were no negative features worthy of comment.

Exceptional family-run business Staff was fantastic. Service great. Real luxury from people that really care. Rooms and facilities are beautiful. Restaurant is highly recommended!
