A good hotel in a perfect location

This hotel is in the best possible location, right on the beach with stunning views. It offers everything you could want….free parking outside & a bar and restaurant for all meals and snacks.

Nothing but it would be challenging to get around without your own transport

i have stayed in this hotel several time . It has a fantastic view of the beach but make sure you upgrade to a superior room to take advantage of it. Very clean hotel and the staff very friendly and helpful. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

walking the Camino you need a decent nights sleep neither of us slept

The bed was described as a double bed but it was so small my wife and I had to sleep one up and one down it was ridiculously small for a couple more suited to a single person

A simple but fabulous hotel overlooking the beach

The hotel is suspended over the beach. The view was incredble. The sunset stunning. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The evening meal was fabulous: I had the sea bass - marvelous. My husband had the hake, I believe.

Maybe a coffee maker in the room would be nice. Breakfast was a little pricey but tasty.

Lovely hotel on the beach

We had a room with a sea view - I understand they all have that, but I did not expect that we would be so near that the sound of the waves made it feel like we were IN the sea! The breakfast was very nice, and the personnel were very helpful, and ordered wholemeal bread for us when we asked. We were also given excellent instructions regarding finding what we needed in town.

The room (on the corner) was very, very hot. A fan would have been good.

Breathtaking views over the ocean from your room.

Wow! What a view. It was amazing, as was everything else. Breakfast was good but I miss pre-Covid buffets!

So relaxing, lovely big rooms, great town to stay in.

We have stayed here on at least 3 or 4 occasions now as we love this hotel. This is a rare thing for us to do as we don't really like going back to the same spot, so this speaks for itself. It is just such a relaxing place to be, with each room virtually hanging over the beach, and being able to hear the waves crashing in is just lovely. Access to the beach is direct and easy and takes less than a minute. Less than 5 minutes away is a lovely restaurant on the beach too and the old town of Comillas is about 10 minutes away (but up steep hills - though the paths are good and there's lots of spots, and excuses, to stop and look at the view). The bathroom is nice, and the storage is excellent. Breakfast was good. Parking has never been an issue for us (2 motorbikes) and is right outside the hotel. The staff were very helpful and looked after us well.

The hose in the shower could be a bit longer... other than that all good!

The location with beach access was brilliant. An added plus was it was roadside on the way into comillas so we wasted no time finding it.

Few bits and bobs could improve but overall a lovely hotel with an excellent view and great rooms.

The rooms are large and the beds comfortable. There is a small fridge in the room so we could keep cold drinks and some snacks. The windows overlook at the beach and that is without a doubt the BEST asset this property has. The cleaning lady was lovely and very professional and the rooms were spotless clean. Breakfast was well organised and generous and the lunch menu is worth it and good value. Sometimes the carpark gets full but there is a very friendly guy who will help you find a spot nearby the hotel.

There is a strict rule to wear masks when around the property that seems to apply only to the guests and some staff as the boss walks around without a mask... serving drinks at the bar and welcoming guests at reception.
