The location is convenient for travelers exploring the Romantic Road, about 5km from Rothenburg. The property is large, with two rental apartments alongside the owners' residence. Our apartment was clean and spacious (two bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom), which was a plus.
The property was difficult to find and poorly maintainedâovergrown bushes and tools were scattered around the grounds. Chickens on-site woke us up crowing at 5 AM daily. While the apartment itself was clean and roomy, the decor and furniture felt very basic and dated. Worse, we found expired food items in the kitchen cabinets. The owner was uncommunicative; we arrived late and left early without interaction. No meals are served, and the town is tinyâbe prepared to drive to Rothenburg for food. Most disappointingly, the actual condition is far worse than the photos suggest. We will not return.
