The breakfast I would describe more ‘adequate’ than good.
A typical continental breakfast, good eggs, but choice of cheese and meats a little sparse, and no croissants
The owner/host Nina was very approachable and gave the hotel a warm feeling, and spoke good English too!

Very friendly owners who really seem to care about the hotel and their guests. There is an old school feeling, but with all modern facilities. We especially appreciated the AC during the hot July days. The breakfast was lovely, though as Swedes we would have preferred a bit stronger coffee ;) The location is excellent for travel by car and to visit Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
I think the hotel was fully booked during our stay. That, in combination with guests to the restaurant led to a slightly chaotic parking situation. It all worked out in the end, though.

Didn’t know that the restaurant was closed until after non-refundable payment was taken.
