In Rothenburg, every building has an interesting history. Gasthof Butz is a former brewery now run by the fourth generation of the founding family. The location is wonderful, on a quiet small square, just off the town hall square. My room was simple but comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. A fan was available in the room, but I didn't need it during my stay.
The mattress was too soft for my taste (but I slept well nevertheless).

Breakfast was good. Location in old town good except there is currently construction occur right in front of the property which we were not aware of.
Beds are very soft, double room is modest, construction right in front of the property which we were not aware of, male staff were not that friendly.
