המקום מאוד שקט ונקי
זו עיירה מאוד קטנה, הנסיעה אליה מאתגרת ולא פשוטה, חייבת לציין שהארוחות מאוד מושקעות אך פחות מתאימות לחיך מערבי. החדר חשוך מאוד, האמבטיה עשויה עץ ומשחירה מרטיבות. לא עושה חשק לטבול בה.

The food was incredible. I read a review saying it was Michelin star level and thought... bahh! But it really was outstanding quality and presentation. Thank you to Yumi San and all the staff who made my stay so lovely. The onsen is small but lovely and tranquil. The maisonette rooms are very comfortable. I can't speak more highly of the entire experience. Definitely do the meal package.
On a couple of occassins fumes would enter the room from what I assume was a generator. But but it only occurred briefly and closing the window for a few minutes fixed it..

Nice location downtown.Clean and well maintained. Good bed.
Small ryokan. Small onsen. Poor service (nobody at front desk, you have to ring a bell). Room has no view. Paper covered window has no black out (prevents you from viewing outside, but does not prevent the sunlight to enter the room at 6 am). We arrived at 5 PM and had booked the meals. They wanted us to go for a 5:30 dinner service. I had a hard time explaining I needed some time ro settle in, eventualy go to the onsen, and dine by 7pm.

The Onsen was vacant when we went. The location is close to a charming town and small bamboo forest.
BEWARE: were not given the room we paid for! We specifically searched out rooms with 2 bedroom areas and paid for a room with 2 twin beds and 2 futons in 2 different areas. But on arrival we were told because we were only 2 people we had to sleep on the same platform bed!!! My friend snored and I couldn't sleep and it ruined my next day being tired. They had the Superior room we paid for but refused to give it to us saying it was Booking.com's fault
