The service was really good, staff was kind and always very friendly whenever we had questions or requests. The location is also amazing, with the Istiklal just behind and plenty of options for dinner and things to do. Also the view of the breakfast bar was great! It was also relatively cheap which is always good ;)
The facilities were very dated, in urgent need of renovation: peeling wallpapers, lifting floors, soundproofing not amazing (which is important in such a busy part of town). It didn't meet the expectations of a supposedly 4-star hotel in terms of facilities, our double room had only one bedside table, very cold white lights and nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. We later found out that in Turkey the hotel star system is not the same as the international standard, so something to know for the future. Given how much we paid per night, at the end of the day this was ok, but didn't fully meet our expectations of a 4-star hotel.

The hotel was clean and in a perfect central location. We could walk to many attractions, restaurants, and cafés, and taxis were always easy to find. It was exactly what we needed for a short city trip.
