It is a beautiful old building. Very pretty room, compact but clean. The breakfast was good, the outdoor terrace was also very pretty. The pool was compact but well maintained and a great relief from the high tempatures during our stay. The location to the old town was perfect.
The room was badly light. One of the lights was not working and it appeared that a bulb was broken off but not removed properly so that is probably why it was never replaced. The plug in the bath did not work on our first night, it wouldn't release so therefore the water could not drain out. When we came back the next day it had been removed and we therefore could not use the bath only the shower for the rest of our stay. We later found it in the end of the wardrobe when we where packing to leave. The wardrobe was badly designed, it was black, and with the bad lighting it was impossible to see anything in it, it also had one top shelve in one section but nothing else, just an unusable space with no shelves or hanging rail. We booked through bookings.com and one of the facilities listed was, access to the executive lounge, there was no executive lounge! This was one of the reasons we booked this hotel as it seemed a little expensive for the size of the property and facilities it had to offer. It would have been nice to have drinks and snacks available even if there was a charge.

The outside of the property is nice. Maria the host friendly nice and helpful. She helped carry a suitcase.
Lots of ants by the pool and in one of the rooms. I told Maria and she didn’t respond. The rooms were dark and kind of underground looking. The location is on a busy main road where cars are flying by. It’s not by a crosswalk either. The hotel is a solid 10-15 min walk from the center of the city.
