Team is accommodating, level of English comprehension varies from person to person. When asked for a disposable shower cap, they bought a reusable one for my wife to use. Really appreciate this accommodation. Breakfast is basic but filling & tasty. We bought a few fruits from the market and they were also happy to chop them up for us in the evening.
The sitting area outside with a small fountain is very relaxing & colorful. It was delight to unwind there after a long day. My wife & I needed cold packs every day and they were happy to keep them in the freezer for us & give them back whenever asked.
The rooms leave a lot to be desired. We had to change our room on the middle of our 9 day stay as the AC was giving off a weird smell when in operation. They called a technician but couldn't figure out any issues so they offered to change our room. In the new room the roof of the bathroom opened to the room, not outside! That was a strange structure tbh. Mosquitoes were also an issue there.

Everything. The room was super spacious and super clean, with a lovely back patio. The hotel has got a lovely design and really great energy, and everyone is extremely kind. Definitely my favourite stay in my whole stay in Mexico!

It was like a little oasis amongst the city. Although it’s in Centro it’s very peaceful and quiet in the courtyard once inside. The breakfast varied each morning but was buffet style and the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had e.g home made jam, mangos, pineapple, kefir and omelettes with lots of veggies. Carlos was amazing and helped us throughout our stay. I felt spoilt that we had a 24 hour desk and could find staff whenever we needed. They provided fresh filtered water every day which was something not provided to us at other hotels during our trip. The bed was comfortable and I felt like royalty walking through the courtyard. We will come back! The location was good, it’s kind of situated right on the between the locals zone and the tourist up market zone. We walked through the locals area which was interesting but you will probably head more into the tourist zone most of the time for better restaurants and artisan shops, about 10 min walk.

The hotel is centrally located, only a few blocks from the Zocalo. The interior is beautifully decorated and the staff is attentive and very helpful. When my plans fell through for a trip to Monte Alban, they helped me book a new excursion. Also, the hotel is also right across the street from a cute plaza full of different ice cream vendors and next to a beautiful church. It's a fun spot for people watching after a long day exploring the city.
