Lobby receptionist (when they were there), were very kind. The food was yummy (except the stale bread). The decor is beautiful! I felt safe in the hotel!
The walls are super duper thin. No outdoor facing windows* beside the bathroom window. The bathroom window is left ajar to prevent mold in the outdated bathrooms**. This let in two mosquitos during our stay. Which, unfortunately bit us. We later found out Oxaca mosquitos carry Dengue sometimes. **The bathrooms were functional, but the decor doesn't quite match the rest of the place. I wish the rooftop was open earlier than 10AM. In the hot summer, by 10AM, it's already too hot. The rooftop could use some refreshments. It'd be cool if there was a bar up top at night. It could bring in some revenue. When we got breakfast, there seemed to be a preference for European Tourists as they got a fresh basket of bread offered to them, only two min after we were told "this is all the bread we have" (and it was stale bread). This was only on the first day. Second and third day we only had stale bread offerings hahaha. We heard a baby crying at night at some point, but I don't believe they allow children here. So, maybe it was a nearby building? The hotel was cute, cozy, they offer water, good breakfast overall, good customer service overall. Just felt that you could get a better deal (cheaper and cuter options) closer to the city center. Walking 1.6km (~1mi) one-way didn't seem bad the first two days, but after that, the heat and my feet took the best of us.

Beautiful hotel, staff were super nice. Breakfast was amazing - a choice between two Mexican style dishes each day along with fruit, bread and coffee. Our room was lovely and the roof terrace with hammocks is such a bonus for having some down time in the afternoon. Was a 15 minute walk into Oaxaca, so easy to get around.

The communal areas were excellent great patios and roof terrace. Fabulous artefacts. Very stylish. Superb breakfast. Staff were kind and helpful. Liked the coffee and water facilities and welcome chocolates.
The room was poor. Small. Basic. Like student accommodation. Tired bed linen. Small ramshackle bathroom. No tissues, body cream, space for a wash bag. Cheap shower products in awful plastic dispensers. The hotel is not terribly central and to conclude, was uncomfortable and overpriced.
