The view from the terrasse of the mountains! and the nice staff and receptionnist always available, to share some local tips, places where to go, where to eat. There is also a parking available with the hotel, but I would recommend to go to Deia by bus, the streets are soooo busy with the tourist cars, the bus station is just 2min by walk to the hotel, it is s place to visit on foot and with the bus. Deia is much more beautiful than Valdemossa.
In summer, having a small fridge would have been a plus :) but there is an open bar at the hotel, and supermarkets nearby that was helpful

The overwhelming hospitality of Alejandro; the entire family worked seamlessly to insure my husband and I felt comfortable. Love that we were able to bring our own wine to enjoy on their memorable terrace.
Proximity to all of Deia's charm yet away from the throngs of tourists. Visitors need to be comfortable with climbing (although Alejandro left to help us with our small bags)
Their not having a second night available.
Issues with a neighboring property whose backed up plumbing line necessitating jack-hammers outside our window when we hoped for a nap. C’est la vie.

The common grounds like the terrace and the lobby were gorgeous, and the location in the center of Deia with the mountains in the background was breathtaking
There is no receptionist available 24 hours. The breakfast is not included, and the staff was really cold and calculated. The room looked nothing like the pictures, very basic and lacking any sort of Mallorcan character. No window screens, and no A/C. So if you leave the window open for fresh air, crazy huge weird bugs fly in. The neighbors were talking loudly at 2am for several hours and disrupted my sleep. The parking is a nightmare. DO NOT rent a car if you plan to stay here.
