This is a lovely hotel in a great position with good facilities and friendly staff.

The hotel is in an enviable position right opposite the beach and if you are lucky enough to have a sea facing room like we did, and be an early riser you can see the sunrise over the ocean. Breakfast was super with much attention to detail. The lady who served us was very helpful. The room and bathroom were beautiful with good quality furniture and very spacious. the beds were exceptionally comfortable!

Love the hotel and would definitely stay again

Loved the decor and furnishings of the bedroom, breakfast room and lounge area. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast spot on.

Earlier checking would have been nice 16.00 is quite late.

What a wonderful experience it was staying at the Clyffe Hotel. Everyone was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and it was definitely worth paying a little extra for the sea view. I have stayed in many hotels and I would rate the breakfast as one of the best...perfect poached eggs, crispy bacon and as much toast/tea/coffee as you want. There is a lift if you have a heavy suitcase or difficulty walking so they appear to have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Free parking is available on the street right outside the hotel and I had no trouble finding a space. Failing that, there is a car park opposite the hotel which I noticed always had spaces during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very good

The breakfast was excellent - lots of options including full english, egg on toast, porridge etc, all made very well.

It would have been nice to have a desk to write at in the bedroom. Also the wi-fi in the room was patchy.

Well appointed and clean. Beautiful characterful period property. Room was gorgeous.

Woderful treasure in Lowestoft

A nice old-fashioned seaside hotel, it couldn’t be closer to the lovely beach than it is. huge rooms facing the sea, top view. great breakfast, staff could not be more helpful

As an overnight stay when visiting Southwold and Aldeburgh, the Hotel location was ideal.

Big breakfast but the quality of items i.e. bacon and sausage could be improved. The breakfast timing was shortened by an hour because of the clock changes why?. The bathroom and towels were of excellent quality. Location was excellent and Parking easy.

Lovely stay, we will definitely come back.

Nice breakfast and a high chair was even provided for our son which was a lovely touch. A wonderful location right on the seafront. A nice warm welcome and a very well presented hotel.

Comfortable but disappointing!

Breakfast was not as advertised! My partner and I do not eat a full English breakfast and were looking forward to a Continental one which was not an option despite it being an option when booked!

Th manager was a little surly! I certainly didn't expect payment as soon as we arrived to be the main priority! A nice welcome would have been preferred!
