About this cabin rental
Located in Lake Almanor, this charming cabin for $191 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Family and pet friendly cabin in a beautiful resort setting on the shore of Lake Almanor has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, chest of drawers and small closet. Beautiful, newly remodeled bathroom has walk-in shower, vanity, thermostat-controlled heater and privacy toilet. Kitchen is also newly remodeled with new appliances, cupboards, and counter tops. Bedding and towels are provided. Kitchen is furnished with dining table & chairs, refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove with oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, toaster, hot pot, blender, dishes, pots & pans, silverware and utensils. Front deck has lake view, gas grill, table & chairs and gate to keep in toddlers and pets as well as new deck flooring and comfortable outdoor furniture. Living room is furnished with a couch which can be used as a bed for a child, two easy chairs, end tables, air conditioner, an electric wall heater, and a flat-screen TV. There is also a flat-screen TV in one of the bedrooms. Free internet is furnished for guests. The cabin comes with a free boat slip for your boat or water craft between May 15th and October 15th. The resort has it's own boat launch ramp for guests and owners. The resort includes a large lawn area on the lake shore with picnic tables and a doggy clean-up station. A fire pit is located on the lake shore. Resort is located right across the road from the Red Onion Grill & Bar and Wally's Peninsula Market, a grocery store with fresh meat counter, award winning deli and coffee shop. Several other restaurants are in close proximity. Boat and watercraft rentals are available right across the cove. We collect a 9% Transient Occupancy Tax plus a 2% Feather River Tourism Marketing District (FRTMD) Fee payable to Plumas County Tax Collector.

the cabin is exactly as described in the listing. it is very clean and in a small resort right on the lake. since it is off season the resort is very quiet. the downside of off season is that most of the restaurants are not open 7 days a week. we had a good time though

My husband and I spent four nights at this wonderful cabin on Lake Almanor. Perfect location, just a few steps to the lake, convenient store across the street (but very expensive - go to the Apple market in Chester for a great selection and lower prices) and about a 45 minute drive to Lassen National Park.
We hiked a couple days in Lassen and then walked the Lake Almanor rec trail. Also, did a little kayaking and SUP on Lake Almanor.
There’s so much to do in this area, and we met so many nice people in the other cabins. The location is nice because it’s on a peninsula so it seems to be quieter than if you were in one of the busier areas on the other side of the lake. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

The cabin was very nice, comfortable and clean. The ads were accurate in their presentation of the property and the owners were very easy to communicate with. We look forward to staying at this property in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. Very clean, updated kitchen and bathroom, very comfortable table beds, and rustic interior compatible with the gorgeous scenery outside. Property manager was very responsive when I couldn’t locate the security key box.

Great location with boat dock. Great lawn for pets! Love the store across the street. Could use a few furniture updates and new pans but it is a wonderful cabin! Thank again!!

Good location. Comfortable and pet friendly. Other guests quite friendly (esp. #1 & #4). Had a small problem with getting the key stuck in the screen door, called Clint who came out quickly to solve the problem. Minor problem: Hot water takes a long time to reach the shower; Garbage disposal may need to be looked at - makes a lot of noise.

We had so much fun up at the lake! The cabin was clean and ready to use and had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect size for our little family (2 adults and our almost 2 year old) I love that the deck has a gate to keep the little one and the dogs in. Though the gate latch could use a little love but we made it work. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Cabin has been updated and is perfect for a small family. Beautiful new kitchen and bathroom. Upon arrival cabin was clean and we were provided extra toiletries by friendly cleaning crew. We will definitely book this cabin again for our future vacations.

We came up to Lake Almanor to visit family and relax. This is the 4th time staying in these cabins, and they are just perfect. The view is amazing, cabin is spotless, and the owners couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. I love that we can bring our dogs with us too. Thanks so much!

I loved the location and proximity to the lake. The grass area was perfect for our dog. Only issue was the amount of time to get hot water out of every tap. With the water shortage, it really bothered us.

This cabin is awesome and the location is ideal with beautiful lake view! We didn’t have a boat, but we were able to float on our rafts right by the dock. We loved the large deck where we would BBQ dinner and play board games with the kids. Family friendly. Karen was quick on responding with recommendations. Highly recommend!

My only complaint was that I really couldn’t use most of the pans to cook, the fry pan was caked/burnt with old food, the smaller pan was scraped down to the metal - I think at a rate of 200.00 a night you could replace them every couple of years to be useable or inform the guests to bring their own cookware! Everything else was just what we needed!

While small, the cabin was very nicely furnished - the kitchen was absolutely lovely, and the Wi-Fi was very reliable (we only had a short period of unavailability on Friday out of the entire week). Perfectly located, as well. Definitely recommend!!!

Great getaway
Needed a fun getaway for my birthday and this was the best! Even though I went in April and there were flurries, it was wonderful and I will be going to that cabin again. Karen and Clint were so attentive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!
