Been coming here for many years. It's functional clean and modern and we do like Portman
I would recommend this hotel, its not as good as it used to be, the staff are not as good as they were , the breakfast is not what it was. I am not saying the staff are bad or breakfast is awful just not what it was in 2017 when we first visited

I'm not sure what i expected from a two star hotel but the reviews convinced me to give it a go. Staff were very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and there was an excellent choice of food on the menu. The solarium on the roof was very relaxing with a bar available. Dinner could be served there by staff while you enjoy the views of the countryside
For the money the hotel was very good value. A couple of minor issues occurred. The lift broke down on two occasions which was difficult as I was using crutches at the time. Also there was a distinct 'drains' odour in the bathroom which is not uncommon in parts of Spain and the canary isles.
