Bed was large. You get a locker under the bed (at least I did with a lower bed). There is a small closet next to the bed. Showers and bathrooms were always clean. Bed mattress was perfect for me. There is an area on the first floor for eating and a little for socializing. Maybe a fridge you can use along with a sink. Oh next to the MRT station!! (Going outside do not turn left to go to the tunnel near there because it is the long way. Turn right and then right into the alley to go to entrance #3 and it is much faster!). Next to Peter Better Cafe where I would have breakfast although the hostel has its own coffee place.
I had to get comfortable with being in a hostel. It is far better than bunk beds and many other hostels.
Oh gosh this is a tough one. You have a curtain that blacks out most the light outside but a person might turn on the light at night or it never got turned off?
I would like to experience 1 or 2 other hostels to see if they are any better than this.

I stayed one night at Dongmen 3 Hostel in a double bed capsule - some of the best value for money you’ll find in the Taipei!
The capsule is spacious with a bedside table, power sockets, lamp and coat hangers. There’s also under bed storage locker which is a decent size but won’t fit a suitcase but there’s space out of the way in the dorm you can put it.
Despite being on a main road the dorm and building is very quiet.
Showers and toilets on each floor.
Washing machines and dryer available for use.
The staff are awesome, super kind and attentive.
I was able to store my bike inside the hostel.

Strategic location, clean, comfortable, I think solid value for money. If I am staying in Taipei, I would stay in Dongmen 3 again.
Maybe the room could have been ventilated a bit better, there was a bit acidic smell sometimes, but it’s a dorm room so no hard feelings.
