* Pretty close to exit 3 of Nakajimakoen Station; take the little path that cuts you across the entrance of the Sapporo Park Hotel, jaywalk across the street (thankfully low traffic), pass Lifort Hotel, and you're almost there. It shares a building with Hotel Norte, and the elevator is in the parking lot a little farther past the stairway up.

* big bathroom with wide variety of supplies
- much simpler instructions for foreigners on how to get in and out, maybe even provide a simple sentence to say in the printed instructions (like please open the door: ドアをあけてください). They make it way too complicated the first time over the phone, all in Japanese. Some of it is to remind you of the rules about getting back in (which are printed in multiple languages on a card), but also they want to ask you when can they come to clean the room, what do you want for breakfast, and what time to receive it.
- Could make it much easier to select a breakfast meal and time over the phone or in advance for foreigners.
- Similarly for returning, make it clear that you just need to state your room number and something to indicate you want to go in, e.g. わたしのへやは、ドアをあけてください.
- the "Deluxe Double Room" is a Type E room, which includes the less interesting room 1003 that lacks a massage chair.
- feels pretty far from the train station in the winter

Automatic locks! Once you’re in the room you are locked, you can only get out after dialing 9, and then someone will open the lock. Dark place, supposed to look romantic but looks creepy. Cigarette smell is too strong.
