We absolutely loved our stay here! ❤️ Although the location is remote, that’s exactly what made it so special. It was quiet, peaceful, and the perfect place to slow down and truly enjoy the beauty of Iceland.
The view was simply incredible — waking up and being able to see the lake was an added bonus.

It was nice and quiet. Not too far from town. Nice lakeside location.
It was a long trek to carry heavy suitcases across the indirect wood-chipped paths to get to the rooms. The room sorely lacked amenities. No sheer drapes on the floor to ceiling windows, where all walk by. It’s either fully exposed or black out drapes. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. No shampoo or conditioner. No tissues or face cloths. The hot tubs were screeching hot! 🥵 The breakfast “buffet” was very limited.
