Location! Access to Vestrahorn. Parking included plus access to Viking village included with overnight booking.
We had a guesthouse room in the recently built extension - extension not quite finished but the room was comfortable. Kettle in the room was useful. Excellent breakfast
Quite busy and a bit confusing as people not staying overnight and visiting just for the day have to buy tickets to park at the reception. It makes the initial parking area and access to reception very congested.

Location was fantastic and the staff were very friendly.
The only reason this location did not get a 10/10 was that the breakfast was not quite as nice as other places we stayed. The food was fine, it just lacked a bit of hot food for breakfast.

We are very happy with the rooms, breakfast buffe was excellent and beyond! Wi-Fi good and nice bar atmosphere with plenty of space to enjoy a glass of wine or chill out with the computer. Rooms super clean and own entrance through a special balcony door with breathtaking view was out of this world! Location in a dramatic scenic area right under the majestic mount Vestrahorn. Free ticket for nice outdoors museum for room guests, and Stokknes area. Camping area close by. Great relaxing stay with town of Höfn in close distance. We will most certainly recommend it for our clients and book there again for our next trip and stay longer.

Room was clean and close to Vestrahorn. Staff was friendly.
Guesthouse had no views of Vestrahorn, and was a 20-30 minute walk (one mile) from the classic viewpoint. Walking there was cumbersome, as we were required to get a card from reception to scan at a gate to walk or drive to the good views. Room was ridiculously expensive for late September. It was more expensive than I've paid anywhere else in Iceland, and I've traveled to Iceland 15 times. $420 for a room is exorbitant, and that was for a room that was detached from the rest of the guesthouse by an 8-minute walk. Bathroom had a light that automatically went out after a few seconds (with a motion detector?) and the shower could have used a soap tray for the shampoo that many travelers bring from home. There are no other dinner options nearby, and Viking Cafe has a very limited dinner menu (soup, ham & cheese sandwich, panini, and waffle). Overall, very poor value, especially if bad weather takes away the views, which is the only reason to stay there.
